At SAUV, everything is modular. Whether due to changing weather, trends, or moods, our pieces allow you to seamlessly switch styles with the snap of a button.

How It Works

SAUV was created by two sisters who, like most women, feel pressure to do it all.

Before we were designing clothes, we were fighting over them. But when college and cross-country moves split our shared wardrobe in half, we found ourselves torn between our love of style and the cost—both to our wallets and the planet.

As a fashion student, Margaux focused on improving fit and inclusivity while Euxie, an environmentalist on a teacher’s salary, searched for accessible ways to live sustainably. In 2022, a global pandemic moved us across the world and reunited us - and our wardrobes - in Paris. Surrounded by a style that was both minimalist and effortlessly chic, we found a solution: clothing that easily adapts to shifting styles, trends, and moods, all while treading lightly on the planet—and your wallet.

At SAUV, we like to SAVE.

The name SAUV comes from sauver—French for “save.” By embedding modularity in everything we create, we live up to this name: save money, save space, and save the planet with clothing that offers multiple styles all in one garment.

This is facet fashion, not fast fashion.

Manufacturing

We work with a high-end, domestic manufacturer in New York City. This allows us to have higher quality control while minimizing emissions from overseas shipping.

Materials

Each garment is made of high-quality, sustainably produced or recycled fabric. While these materials can be more expensive, they are less resource-intensive and made to last, reducing consumption from beginning to end.

Packaging

We use recycled materials for our packaging, labels, and any other marketing materials. All other materials are sustainably produced.

Sustainability
Keeping up with trends is often costly and wasteful. SAUV designs evolve with the times so each piece can be worn and re-worn beyond the latest trend cycle. And while modularity is inherently sustainable, sustainability is built into everything we do: we use high-quality, organic, and sustainable materials to minimize consumption and maximize durability.
